Sovereignty and impartiality are rare qualities; so, too, is specialisation. Building Value, however, is an autonomous business, dedicated to building materials, construction and support services. Its concept is to provide counsel and guidance, on a sustainable basis, combined with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ approach to research, analysis and implementation.

Its founder, Tony Williams, has specialised in these industries for over 25 years and enjoyed a portfolio career as a writer, investment banker and industrialist. In this time, he has worked for leading, international companies including UBS, Morgan Stanley, ING Barings and, latterly, ABN AMRO; and was a Director of Tarmac plc.

This experience ‘on both sides of the fence’ provides Building Value with a unique perspective and an ideal base from which to proffer insight, help and direction to those it has worked with or continues to work with. These include:
